Local sources in Ma’rib Governorate said that 12 civilians were killed and others were injured as a result of a missile shelling launched by the Iranian Houthi militia on the house of Sheikh Abdul Latif Nimran al-Qibli.

The Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism, Muammar Al-Eryani, condemned the Iranian-backed Houthi militia’s targeting of the house of the social figure Abdul Latif Al-Qibli Namran Al-Muradi in Al-Amoud District in Al-Juba District, Marib Governorate, with a ballistic missile, which led to the death of 12 people, including two of his sons, and the injury of others, according to an initial toll.

Al-Eryani explained that the Houthi militia continues to systematically and deliberately bomb villages and homes of citizens in the Juba district with various types of heavy and medium weapons, ballistic missiles and drones.

He pointed out that hundreds of families from the al-Juba district and the displaced were forced to leave the district as a result of the Houthi military escalation and the targeting of residential communities.

Al-Eryani called on the international community, the United Nations, the permanent members of the Security Council, and the UN and US envoys, to condemn and stop these reprisals that affect innocent civilians and constitute war crimes and crimes against humanity, and to criminalize and prosecute those responsible for them from the leaders and members of the militia as “war criminals.”

The Iranian Houthi militia targeted a number of houses in Al-Jarsha area in Al-Juba district, in addition to bombing the only school in the area with missiles.
