The Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism, Muammar Al-Eryani, condemned, in the strongest terms, the crime of the bombing by the terrorist Houthi militia of Iran, Al-Huda Secondary School in the isolation of Hamir Al-Wadi in the Maqbna district, west of Taiz governorate, during school hours, with four rockets, which resulted in the killing of the child Rabie Hamid Hammoud and the injury of 6 students. Others were seriously injured.

?explained Muammar al-Eryani, in a statement to the Yemeni news agency Saba, that the Houthi terrorist militia’s deliberate targeting of “Al-Huda” school, which is the largest in the region and includes (1300) male and female students and dozens of educational and administrative staff during official working hours, reveals the extent of its disregard for the lives of innocent civilians, and its intention to inflict the largest The number of victims among children.

Al-Eryani indicated that this crime is an extension of the series of targeting by the terrorist Houthi militia of hundreds of schools in the liberated areas, and the use of those located in their areas of control for military purposes, which led to the deprivation of millions of children from continuing basic education, and made them vulnerable to Houthi lures and recruitment on the fighting fronts.

Al-Eryani called on the international community, the United Nations, UN and US envoys and human rights organizations to condemn the Houthi militia’s bombing of Al-Huda School, which amounts to war crimes, and work to include the militia in the lists of terrorism and to prosecute and try its leaders in the International Criminal Court as “war criminals.”
