Muammar al-Eryani said in a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), that the terrorist Houthi militia’s mobilization of tens of thousands of children in its areas of control with sectarian rhetoric imported from Tehran, and mobilizing them with dark ideas and slogans of hatred, violence and terrorism, will pose risks to the social fabric, civil peace and the values of coexistence between Yemenis.
Al-Eryani stressed that the Houthi militia’s continuation of the policy of mobilizing and infusing the minds of children and recruiting them and throwing them into the fighting fronts will represent a major obstacle to the efforts made by brotherly and friendly countries to pacify and establish peace and security.
Al-Eryani called on the international community, the United Nations, and the UN and US envoys to carry out their legal and moral responsibilities, and to put real pressure on the leaders of the terrorist Houthi militia to stop the mass recruitment of children, hold those responsible for this crime accountable and prosecute them in international courts as war criminals.
