Al-Sarari criticizes the weak international stance towards the fighter, Muhammad Qahtan and all the kidnappers

A member of the Political Bureau of the Yemeni Socialist Party, Ali al-Sarari, confirmed that the reason for the Houthi militia’s arrest of the fighter Muhammad Qahtan, a member of the Supreme Council for Reform, is his sincerity, sincerity and love for Yemen, and that he was carrying a national project inclusive of all Yemenis.

Al-Sarari explained – in an exclusive statement to “Al-Islah Net” – that the fighter Qahtan was against violence and heralded civil and national peace, and called on Yemenis from different directions and stripes to coexist, interact, work together, reject divisions, and work to build Yemen, the home of all Yemenis.

Al-Sarari predicted that the Houthi militia would be intransigent in the issue of Qahtan’s release and self-determination, because they fear that this voice will reappear to rattle the sleepers of the darkness and petty people who want today to decide the fate of this country.

The socialist leader pointed out that Qahtan, the man of politics and dialogue known to forums and arenas, had a strong, honest and sincere speech.

He expressed his sadness on the seventh anniversary of the kidnapping of the fighter Qahtan, describing him by saying, “He is my brother, friend and companion to my path, a man of politics and dialogue.”

A member of the Political Bureau of the Yemeni Socialist Party said that Yemenis found in Qahtan’s voice a great deal of responsibility and honesty.

On his assessment of the position of the United Nations and the international community on the issue of Qahtan and the abductees, Al-Sarari affirmed that they have failed Muhammad Qahtan, his companions, his friends and those who are keen on dialogue, as well as the UN resolution adopted by the Security Council that obligated the Houthis to release all political detainees.

He expressed his regret that the United Nations, through its envoys, and its contacts and movements, did not provide any effort to release the freedom fighter, Muhammad Qahtan.
