Toyota’s business manager in Kuwait, Martin Aherney, said, “Hybrid electric cars work like regular fuel cars. You drive them, perform maintenance services, and refuel them like regular cars, but they have the second source of energy as an added advantage.”

He added that this second source of energy is self-charging without an electric plug, and makes these cars quieter and more responsive, pointing out that their performance must be tested to believe it, noting that these cars are also more fuel-efficient and better for the environment, and he added that the world is changing, and these vehicles are made from For a better world.

Aherney pointed out that the total sales of electric vehicles exceeded the barrier of 17 million vehicles during the period from 1997 to February 2021, and the total carbon dioxide emissions that were reduced due to the use of electric vehicles amounted to about 140 million tons between 1997 and 2020.

For his part, Bader Faisal Al-Sayer, Toyota Marketing Manager in Kuwait, said: “With Toyota Hybrid vehicles, today I can see futuristic connectivity, advanced technology, unique style and the most efficient fuel consumption performance ever. The vehicle has exceptional fuel efficiency of 23.9 km / liter without any impact on performance, and it is equipped with a fuel engine of 97 hp and a torque of 142 Nm, working in conjunction with an electric motor of 71 hp and a torque of 163 Nm.

The Corolla Cross’s exuberant character is brought to life with a new hybrid electric system that combines two power sources. The 1.8-liter Atkinson-cycle fuel engine produces 97 horsepower and 142 Nm of torque, working in tandem with two electric motors. They produce 71 horsepower and 163 Nm of torque.
