Chaitra Navratri is starting from 2nd April 2022 and will end on 11th April 2022. Nine forms of the goddess are worshiped for the entire 9 days. People fast for nine days. There are many people who do not fast but eat satvik food throughout Navratri. It is beneficial in terms of both devotion and health. Actually, the summer starts from Chaitra Navratri itself. In such a situation, your diet affects your health. In summer, eating too hot and oily increases the problem of stomach. In Navratri, some people fast for the whole day without eating anything, while some people consume only fruits. In such a situation, the problem of acidity and gas starts occurring due to empty stomach or wrong eating during fasting. Do not eat these things during fasting
1, Tea- No matter what you fast, you should not start the morning with tea. You have to eat light food throughout the day, in such a situation, drinking tea on an empty stomach in the morning causes gas formation. This can make it difficult for you to keep fast. Many people drink tea several times on the day of fasting, it can increase the problem of gas and acidity and cause headache.
2, empty stomach- Fasting does not mean that you have to be on an empty stomach. Being hungry or empty stomach in fasting can cause gas problem in the stomach. You may also have headache and vomiting. On the day of fasting, you need to take great care of your food and drink. Keep eating something light little by little. Don’t forget to stay empty stomach.
3, fried food- Many people eat a lot of fried roast during the fast. But you should avoid doing so. The digestive system becomes weak on the day of fasting. In such a situation, you should not eat more fried fried things. Especially during fasting, such things can cause heartburn, gas, and lack of water. Eating oily makes you feel more thirsty. This type of food is injurious to health.
