The Yemeni Reform Gathering in Tarim District, Hadramout Governorate, on Thursday April 8, 2021 held a public meeting of notables, notables, neighborhood leaders, and social and political personalities within the framework of the Aideed district branch in the district.
During the meeting, the leader of Taryam Reform, Mr. Ali Sobeih, spoke about the developments of the political situation in the country, referring to the reform’s steadfast position on various national issues, including the rejection of the Houthi coup against the state and its institutions.
He called on the government to carry out its duties to normalize civil life, pay attention to the livelihood aspect of the citizen, put an end to the low level of services, and stop the continuous collapse of the local currency against foreign currencies.
For his part, Dr. Anwar Mesaeed spoke about the danger of the Houthi thought as a Twelver Shiite thought threatening the lives of the Sunnis in Yemen and the region in general, reviewing a number of their deviant beliefs and ideas and their hostility to the Sunnis and the community based on their books and writings, indicating the role assigned to individuals and groups in such cases.
At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Ali Salamah spoke a word of welcome in which he welcomed the attendees and thanked them very much for accepting the invitation, reviewing the experiences of reform during the past decades.
