The Commander of the Third Military Region, Major General Mansour Thawaba, said that the Iranian Houthi militia fell into the trap of the heroes of the army and the popular resistance on the battlefronts in Marib, stressing that its human and material losses in the recent battles are very large and cannot be counted.
In a statement to the Media Center of the Armed Forces, Major General Thawabeh, from the outskirts of Harib, confirmed that the battles are continuing on various fronts, stressing that there is no turning back for the heroes of the army and the free people of Yemen to confront the Iranian militia and defeat it.
He said: We are victorious – thanks to God Almighty and the efforts of the heroes – because we are right to fight in defense of Yemeni identity, freedom and democracy, and the goals and lofty goals of the September 26 revolution.
Major General Thawabeh renewed his call to citizens in the areas under the militia’s control to preserve their children and not send them to perish in the ranks of the Houthi militia, which does not care about the fate of those who fight and sacrifice with them, as it considers them slaves created for its service and death for its comfort.
He said, “There is no one in the universe who fights to be a slave except for those who joined the ranks of the Houthi militia, and those who were deceived by them should consider the convoys of corpses that return to them every day, as well as hundreds of dead whose bodies were left in the mountains and reefs and do not care about their fate.”
The Commander of the Third Military Region expressed his thanks to the countries of the Coalition to Support Legitimacy, led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, for their efforts in supporting the Yemeni armed forces in their battle against the Iranian Houthi militia and its cross-border destructive project.
