On Monday, in the city of Marib, the body of the hero, Colonel Hussein Qassem Al-Bariq, commander of the Third Brigade of the Falcons Brigade, who was martyred while performing his national duty in the forefront of the ranks of the National Army heroes in the battles to defend the republic and the national gains against the Iranian-backed terrorist Houthi militia.
The body of the hero martyr Hussein Al-Bariq was carried on the palms of the honor guard wrapped in the republican flag to the martyrs’ cemetery in Marib city, in a funeral procession presented by the Chief of the General Staff, Commander of Joint Operations, Lieutenant General Saghir Hammoud bin Aziz and a number of military and civilian leaders, in the presence of the martyr’s relatives and groups of citizens.
The Chief of Staff praised the virtues, sacrifices, patriotic roles and dedication of the martyr in the battle to defend the republic in the face of the Iranian-backed Houthi coup militia, which wants ruin and destruction to Yemen and the Arab region.
He said: Our martyrs sacrifice for the freedom, dignity and pride of the Yemeni people and defend the Yemeni, national and Arab identity.
He added: The more martyrs we have, the more confidence and determination we are to achieve victory, and we are confident that victory is near and we will read Al-Fatiha for the souls of the martyrs in the Seventy Square in the capital, Sanaa, God willing.
For their part, the mourners emphasized the continuation of the path of martyrs in the sacred patriotic battle to complete the liberation of the homeland from Iran’s Houthi terrorist tools, and the fulfillment of the Yemeni dream of a modern civil state, a state of justice and equal citizenship.
