Today, Thursday, the Ministry of Defense celebrated the graduation of the second and third course in the field of battalion commanders, coinciding with the celebrations of the Yemeni people on the 54th National Day of Independence, the 30th of November.
At the ceremony, the Chief of the General Staff, Commander of Joint Operations, Lieutenant-General Saghir Hammoud bin Aziz, delivered a speech in which he conveyed the greetings of the political and military leadership to the graduates, congratulating them on this occasion, which coincides with the 54th National Day of Independence, the 30th of November.
The Chief of Staff affirmed the interest of the political and military leadership in addition to training and qualification in the process of building the military institution that guarantees the security and stability of the nation.. He stressed the graduates to be up to the responsibility entrusted to them to serve the nation as a trust in all of us.
He stressed that security and stability can only be achieved for our country and the region by eliminating the malicious Houthi fragmentation, restoring state institutions, and extending the rule of law and order over every inch of Yemen.
He said that the Houthi militia represents a spearhead in the Iranian project to destroy the Arab world, stressing the confidence of our Yemeni people, in God first and in his great army second, that he will win in this sacred national battle.
The Chief of Staff praised the immortal sacrifices and heroisms of the heroes of the army, the popular resistance and the tribesmen on all different fronts and fields to defeat the Iranian priestly militia.. He appreciated the support and backing of the brothers in the coalition to support legitimacy led by the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in the battle of Arabism and a common destiny.
The ceremony was attended by Deputy Head of the Training Authority, Major General Ahmed Al-Absi, Director of the Moral Guidance Department, Brigadier General Ahmed Al-Ashwal, and a number of military and security leaders.
