The Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism, Muammar Al-Eryani, and the Governor of Hadhramaut, Commander of the Second Military Region, Major General Faraj Salmeen Al-Bahsani, witnessed a solemn military parade for the employees of the Police College in Hadhramaut, in its public and private departments.
Minister “Al-Iryani” delivered a speech to future officers who bear the banner of security and stability for the homeland, during his visit to the governorate, in which he closely looks at the achievements and senses the concerns and difficulties of the people of the governorate, with his interest in Hadramout and the region, which will be the ideal model among the federal regions of the state.
The Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism indicated that the stages of establishing the college since the issuance of the decision and the stages of establishment came under difficult and complex circumstances.
He said that this achievement was achieved thanks to God and the president’s decision and the support of the local authority in Hadhramaut for the construction and establishment process, noting the role of the college and the efforts of its leadership, faculty members and all its affiliates in graduating the protectors of the homeland from officers, and the college’s reception of students from the governorates of Hadramout, Shabwa, Mahra and Socotra.
Al-Eryani also expressed his sincere thanks and gratitude to the countries of the Arab coalition led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates for providing support to liberate Mukalla and the coast of Hadramout from terrorist organizations, and for the efforts of the leadership of the battle for liberation and all the soldiers participating in the liberation process.
In turn, the Governor of Hadhramaut “Al-Bahsani” saluted the students for their spirit, high morale, and discipline in the academic and field fields, looking forward to performing their national duty in the field of work after graduation, and serving the governorates of Hadramawt, Shabwa, Mahra and Socotra, thanking His Excellency the President, Field Marshal Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi, President of the Republic, Supreme Commander of the Forces. The Armed Forces issued a decision to establish the Police College, from which many officers have graduated.
After that, Minister “Al-Eryani” and Governor “Al-Bahsani” toured the buildings, teaching halls, and student dormitories in the college, learning from the Dean of the Police College in Hadhramaut, Brigadier General Salem Abdullah Al-Khanbashi, about the components of the second phase of the project, which includes the academic building, the college administration building, student dormitories, and the percentage of completion in the second phase. The figure is 97%, according to the army’s website, “Septembernet”.
