The Medical and Technical Reception Committee for the returnees from India has completed its work, after completing the evacuation plan for the returnees from the Republic of India, in coordination with other sectors that worked to implement the presidential and government directives to return the stranded from India.

In a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the Minister of Public Health and Population, Dr. Qassem Buhaibah, said that the ministry completed its mission after the return of 609 citizens on four flights in which medical services were provided to the returnees and the necessary medical examinations for the Corona virus, starting from India through the health attaché of the Yemeni embassy, ​​and then At Aden Airport upon their arrival and the third upon their departure from the accommodation center to their homes, after all tests confirmed that they were free of infection with the Corona virus.

The Minister of Health pointed out that a number of medical and service teams from the Ministry of Health worked in cooperation and coordination with a number of relevant authorities to provide services to the returnees around the clock during their stay in the shelter center that was allocated to them and equipped with various needs of housing, food and medical care.
