Porsche Center Kuwait, Behbehani Motors Company, was awarded the prestigious Innovative Marketing Award for the year 2020 thanks to its distinctive campaign for the Taycan under the title “Become One Our Essence” which included many prominent Kuwaiti personalities.
The award, which is organized by Porsche Middle East and Africa, the regional office of the brand and which sponsors dealerships in 18 countries, was announced during a conference held recently.
This is the second time that Porsche Center Kuwait has received the prestigious award since it was first introduced in 2017, as the nominations focused on ways to introduce people to the all-new Taycan, the first fully electric sports car from Porsche, and motivate them to buy it.
The Porsche Center Kuwait team developed a distinctive campaign that witnessed the participation of a group of talented Kuwaiti personalities who excelled in a number of sports, artistic and cultural disciplines, where they tell their stories about willpower, ambition and talent and link them to the unique characteristics of the Taycan.
Hani Maree, General Manager of Porsche Center Kuwait, indicated that the campaign carries the personal and emotional touch that connects customers with Porsche and adds it to the new Taycan, which represents a step towards the future for the company.
The campaign chose an artist, jockey, race driver, swimmer, and fitness expert, and showcased the passion that drove them to reach the top and how it affected their lives, then finally moves on to their love for the sustainable future that the new Taycan can provide.”
He added: “We are proud to win this award for the second time, and our customers realize that Porsche Center Kuwait is always looking for new innovations and initiatives to create attractive content for our customers and brand lovers and connect Porsche values to their lifestyle.”

The campaign was chosen to win the award based on the level of creativity in content, innovation in the interactive marketing strategy, the campaign’s efficiency in promoting public awareness and its contribution to increasing brand sales. The criteria for the “Innovative Marketing Award” also include efficiency and quality.

The video clips witnessed a wide spread and many participations on the local and international social networking sites of Porsche, and they were shared a lot. These video clips include five Kuwaiti talents, including Yahya Garg, a woodworking craftsman, Luay Bahman, a motorsport enthusiast, and Yara Al-Hunaidi. The equestrian champion, Abdullah Al Askari, a pioneer in sports and fitness, and Zine El Abidine Qoli, the swimming champion, and the skills and talents of the chosen characters are linked to the Porsche Taycan and all the values it embodies.
