The coalition added, “We hope that this decision will put an end to the brutal crimes committed by the Houthi militia in our country, which began years ago against the people of Saada Governorate and then spread to all governorates of the country, committing unprecedented losses, not the latest of which is the bloody massacre in the Al-Hima area of ​​Taiz governorate. The coalition indicated that the importance of this decision comes after Houthi terrorism has become a threat to the security of the neighborhood, foremost of which is the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which has been hit by Houthi terror missiles targeting civilian objects and installations, and Houthi terrorism armed with Iranian weapons has become a real threat and a threat to the security and stability of the region and navigation routes. International.

The National Alliance of Political Parties and Forces called on the international community, on top of that the Arab and Islamic countries, to interact with this step in a way that raises the scourge of Houthi terrorism on our Yemeni people throughout the country’s provinces and achieves security and lasting and comprehensive peace.

He also called for supporting the legitimacy and the Yemeni government with everything that enables them to confront and eliminate this terrorism, so that Yemen can return to its state and achieve security and peace for Yemen, its neighborhood and its Arab and regional surroundings.

The parties demanded the government and parliament to expedite the necessary legislation to criminalize the behavior of this group and classify it as one of the groups of violence and terrorism.

Today, Monday, US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo announced that the United States will designate the Houthi militia a “terrorist group.”

The Republic of Yemen welcomed the recent decision taken by the United States government to classify the Houthi group as a foreign terrorist organization, which is consistent with the Yemeni government’s demands to punish these terrorist militias.
