A kidnapper died in the prisons of the Houthi coup militia, in Dhamar Governorate, as a result of the torture he was subjected to, about a year and a half after his abduction.

Human rights sources said that the citizen, “Mohsen Muhammad al-Qadi”, 28 years old, died inside a militia prison, about a year and a half after he was kidnapped from his home in the “Azan” neighborhood and forcibly disappeared in its prisons.

Civilian abductees in the prisons of the terrorist Houthi militia are subjected to the worst types of psychological and physical torture, torture that did not differentiate between a young or old, a man or a woman, and led many of them to death.

Last November, a human rights report issued by a human rights coalition comprising a number of local organizations and human rights activists revealed that 1,635 abductees were subjected to various types of physical and psychological torture and cruel treatment inside the prisons of the Houthi militia, including 109 children, 33 women and 78 elderly, distributed over 17 governorates. Yemenia.

The Rassd coalition said that 1,427 abductees were subjected to psychological and physical torture, including 101 children and 24 women, adding that 208 were subjected to the most severe and cruel types of torture that led to death, including 8 children, 9 women and 15 elderly people.

He explained that torture afflicted some of them with total and half paralysis, and others with chronic diseases, memory loss, and visual and hearing disabilities, and some of them died inside the cells under torture whips, and others died as a result of neglect and the deterioration of their health condition in light of the continuous denial of receiving treatment, in addition to that a number of Some of them were subjected to physical liquidation inside militia prisons, or the cruelty and ugliness of torture pushed them to commit suicide.
