The Iranian Houthi militia escalated its violations of the armistice for the seventh day in a row on the battlefronts in the governorates of Marib, Al Jawf, Saada, Hajjah, Al Hudaydah, Taiz and Al Dhale’.
In a report, the Armed Forces Media Center stated that the National Army forces monitored 141 violations of the armistice committed by the Iranian Houthi militia on Friday, April 8, 2022, including 44 breaches of the armistice on the fronts west of Hajjah, 43 on the fronts of the Taiz axis, and 25 breaches of the armistice north, west and south of Marib. And 18 breaches of the armistice in the Al-Barah and Hays axes, 8 breaches of the armistice in the fronts east and north of Al-Jawf, and 3 breaches of the armistice in the Kataf Al-Baqqa front and the Al-Fakher front in Al-Dhalea.
The report indicated that the violations varied between targeting army positions on all fronts with artillery and bullets, in addition to building roads and deploying snipers in several locations.
The report pointed out that for the seventh day, the militia continued to send human reinforcements and equipment to most of the fronts, including 29 kits loaded with personnel and ammunition, which were pushed to several locations south and west of Marib, and they pushed bullets to the vicinity of the Balk Mountains.
Noting that the militias also sent large reinforcements, including personnel and ammunition, to locations on the eastern, western and northeastern fronts of Taiz, and to the al-Dhabab and Maqbna fronts.
The army forces had broken several offensive operations and infiltration attempts carried out by the Iranian Houthi militia during the past 48 hours, taking advantage of the absence of air coverage and the commitment of our forces to the truce.
