The meeting discussed developments on the national scene, foremost of which are the outcomes of the Yemeni-Yemeni consultations that were held in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, appreciating the efforts of the brothers in the Gulf Cooperation Council, and the support and assistance provided by the brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the UAE to the Yemeni government and people.
For his part, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Command Council, Brigadier Tariq Muhammad Abdullah Saleh, praised the efforts and roles of the Yemeni Islah party in confronting the Houthi militia and the Imami project.
He stressed that the recent developments establish a new phase in the history of Yemen entitled consensus and alignment in the face of national challenges, foremost of which is confronting the Houthi militias, rebuilding state institutions and achieving security, stability and development.
He noted the need for all political forces to benefit from the lessons of the past, work hard and sincerely for the sake of the homeland, stand united, and direct all efforts towards the fateful battle with the only and common enemy represented by the Iranian Houthi militia.
The Vice Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council called for activating communication and coordination committees between political components, controlling political and media discourse, and establishing a charter of honor to isolate the platforms of incitement and sedition.
The meeting was attended by Brigadier General Sadiq Doweed, head of the Monitoring and Inspection Authority in the Political Bureau of the National Resistance, and Hamid Ghaleb, Deputy Head of the Political and External Relations Department.
