The local authority in Ma’rib welcomes the request of Child Care International to open an office in the governorate





On Sunday, the local authority in Marib Governorate welcomed a request submitted by Save the Children International to open an office in the governorate.

Dr. Abd Rabbo Miftah, the governorate’s deputy, received an official request from the organization regarding the opening of an office in the governorate in the coming days. He welcomed this request and referred it to the competent authorities to decide on it and complete the approval procedures as soon as possible.

The Undersecretary of Ma’rib Governorate affirmed the keenness of the local authority’s leadership in the governorate to strengthen partnership with all active local, regional and international organizations working in the humanitarian, relief, human rights and other fields concerned with the displaced and securing their needs.

He expressed the governorate’s leadership’s readiness to cooperate with the organization and its team and provide all necessary facilities for it to enable it to play its humanitarian role towards the displaced children in the governorate, meet their needs, and contribute to alleviating their suffering.

This came during a meeting with the Child Care International team headed by the team leader, Amin Al-Areeqi, and discussed with him the organization’s interventions and expected projects to support children in the camps and gatherings of the displaced in the governorate.
