Nine national army heroes were martyred and wounded as a result of the continued violations of the armistice by the Iranian Houthi terrorist militia on a number of fighting fronts.
According to the “Media Center of the Armed Forces”, the Houthi coup militia committed 117 violations of the UN truce on various fighting fronts, in light of the commitment of the army and resistance forces to the directives of the political and military leadership that require a comprehensive cease-fire.
The Houthis’ violations were distributed among 34 violations on the fronts of the Taiz axis, 31 violations in the Hays axis, south of Hodeidah, 21 violations in the Al-Barah axis, west of Taiz, 19 violations on the fronts of Hajjah Governorate, 10 violations on the fronts south, west and northwest of Marib, and two violations in the Al-Dhale axis.
It varied between firing at army positions with Katyusha rockets, artillery and various calibers, and booby-trapped drones and snipers.
As a result of these violations, four army heroes were martyred and five others were wounded on various battle fronts, according to what was confirmed by the media center of the armed forces.
Earlier, the UN envoy to Yemen, Hans Grundberg, described the truce in the country as “fragile”, but at the same time considered it “steadfast.”
On Saturday, the Yemeni government called on the international community to take a clear and explicit stance towards the Houthi terrorist militia’s continued use of the truce to recruit children.
