The Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism, Muammar Al-Iryani, met today in the temporary capital, Aden, with a number of journalists and media workers working in official and private media institutions.
During the meeting, the minister discussed many issues, foremost of which is the reactivation of official media institutions, the rehabilitation and operation of the 14 October Corporation, the Aden Channel and Radio, the office of the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), in addition to unifying the National Front on the path to restoring the state and mobilizing all efforts and energies to confront the Yemeni enemy represented by the Houthi militia. The minister stressed the need for concerted efforts and unification of the media discourse in a manner that removes tensions and prepares the situation in the temporary capital of Aden to circumvent the government and help it provide services to citizens and overcome the obstacles it faces.
He added, “Development and revival require the restoration of security, stability, cooperation and solidarity of all, and opening a new page that leads to a true partnership to build the nation.”
The meeting was attended by the Undersecretary for Financial, Administrative and Technical Affairs Abdul Basit Al-Qaedi, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Information for Radio Affairs Saleh Al-Hamidi, Assistant Undersecretary for Radio Affairs Lisa Al-Hasani, and the Ministry’s Adviser Muhammad Bashrahil.
