The Ministry of Defense mourns Major General Abdullah Al-Subaihi

Today, Monday, the Ministry of Defense and the Presidency of the General Staff mourned the commander of the Abyan axis, the commander of the 39th Presidential Protection Brigade, Major General Abdullah Al-Subaihi, who passed away after a life full of sacrifice, struggle and giving in the service of the country.

The ministry said in a statement that Al-Subaihi was one of the loyal leaders who gave their lives to the homeland and spent their lives defending the national gains and constants, defending the honor of the republic and the principles and goals of the September and October revolution. Leading the battle to liberate Aden and other governorates from the terrorist Houthi militia.

The deceased was also one of the noblest loyal officers who recorded immortal fingerprints in building and developing the armed forces, and he was an example and a model in soldiering, leadership and discipline in the various positions and tasks he held and assigned during his military service and his struggle history in order to serve society.

According to the statement, “The deceased Al-Subaihi was a brave leader and a brave fighter who stood with courage and steadfastness at the forefront of the ranks, witnessed by all his companions, and he won the appreciation of his leadership, the trust of his soldiers, and the love of the people who found him with them in the war and the situation. They did their duty and spared no effort and time in serving the country, confronting its enemies, and confronting all schemes that stalk its security and stability.

The Ministry of Defense and the General Staff expressed their sincere condolences and great sympathy to the family and relatives of the deceased, to all members of the armed forces, to the political leadership, and to all the Yemeni people. We ask God Almighty to bless him with his vast forgiveness and mercy and to dwell in his vast gardens.
