The Ministry of Information holds the Houthi militia responsible for the safety of journalist Tawfiq Al-Mansoori and his companions

Muammar Al-Eryani, Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism, held the terrorist Houthi militia of Iran fully responsible for the safety of journalist Tawfiq Al-Mansoori and his companions, “Abdul-Khaleq Omran, Akram Al-Walidi, Harith Hamid.”

Muammar al-Eryani said in a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that the four journalists, who have been forcibly disappeared for seven years in the illegal detention of the Houthi militia, were subjected to various types of psychological and physical torture, and death orders were issued against them, and all efforts to exchange them or release them were rejected.

Al-Eryani pointed out that the information confirms the deterioration of the health status of journalist Tawfiq Al-Mansoori, who suffers from heart disease, kidney failure, prostate, diabetes, rheumatism and digestive diseases, as a result of harsh inhumane treatment, depriving him of adequate food, clean water, medicine and specialized medical services, and exposure to sunlight.

Al-Eryani called on the international community, the United Nations, UN and US envoys, human rights organizations and the protection of journalists to condemn the crimes and violations that journalists in Houthi militia-controlled areas are subjected to, and to put real pressure on its leaders to immediately release journalist Tawfiq Al-Mansoori and his companions, unconditionally.
