The Presidential Leadership Council, headed by Dr. Rashad Muhammad Al-Alimi, Chairman of the Leadership Council, reviewed the general directions of its work plan for the coming period, and the mechanisms for translating the responsibilities entrusted to it according to the formation decision into practical, operational plans.
Based on extensive discussions in several meetings during the past days, the Council identified a number of priorities, stressing the commitment of the President and members of the Presidential Leadership Council to the principle of collective responsibility and their quest to achieve the highest degree of consensus, commensurate with the accuracy of the current stage and based on the local consensus of political and societal forces and components in The framework of the unity of the national ranks to complete the restoration of the state and alleviate the suffering of Yemenis.
The Presidential Leadership Council stressed that the file of economic stability and easing the human suffering of citizens is a top national priority and comes among the priorities of the coming period, noting the importance of integrating efforts made by various sectors of the state and their cooperation in this regard and translating them on the ground.
The President expressed his confidence that the integration of national efforts and the unity of the ranks, translating the outcomes of the Yemeni-Yemeni consultations held under the umbrella of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, will represent a new stage of work towards alleviating the suffering of Yemenis who have endured for a long time as a result of the Houthi militia coup, stressing that the Presidential Leadership Council has an outstretched hand. For a just and comprehensive peace, and at the same time, he will not hesitate to defend the security of Yemen and its people and defeat any extraneous projects targeting its Arab identity, and turn it into a thorn in the side of the region and the Gulf in order to serve the agenda and project of Iran.
He said: “We are fully aware of the complexities facing us, but we have the determination that may help us to dismantle the mines planted on our way, at a time when we trust the cooperation of everyone at the local, regional and international levels to implement our national tasks, and in the forefront is the completion of restoring the state and alleviating the living suffering of citizens.”
The president made it clear that the upcoming situation is exceptional and everyone must bear the responsibility, and be up to the challenges.. He said, “The challenges are great, but achieving success is not impossible. This political, partisan and societal rallying around the formation of the Leadership Council places us all before a heavy responsibility that we will not evade under any considerations or path.” We have only success ahead.”

The meeting exchanged visions and ideas about starting a new and qualitative course of work during these exceptional circumstances, in the aspects of completing the restoration of the state, overcoming economic challenges, alleviating the suffering of citizens and improving their standard of living, in addition to the requirements of controlling security and stability and activating the efficient work of state institutions.
In the meeting, the Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council gave a guiding speech, at the outset, stressing the keenness to integrate and coordinate work between the Leadership Council, the government and the governors in order to enhance performance and achieve the aspirations of citizens to alleviate their suffering, considering that everyone is responsible and committed to each of his positions..
