Today, Saturday, Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan met with the US special envoy for Iran, Robert Malley, on the sidelines of the 20th Doha Forum in the Qatari capital.
During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral cooperation between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United States of America on the Iranian nuclear file and the ongoing international negotiations in this regard, in addition to discussing intensifying joint efforts to confront Iranian violations of international agreements and treaties.
The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Twitter that during the meeting, the two sides discussed “strengthening joint action to stop Iranian support for terrorist militias that threaten the security and stability of the Middle East and the world.”
In another context, the Saudi Foreign Minister discussed today with his French counterpart, Jean-Yves Le Drian, bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to enhance them.
The Saudi Press Agency “SPA” said that the phone call between the two ministers also discussed “the aspects of intensifying coordination and bilateral work on many regional and international issues, foremost of which is strengthening security and stability in the Middle East, and efforts to lay the foundations for peace made by the two friendly countries in the region and the world.”
