The Vice President of the Republic, Lieutenant-General Ali Mohsen Saleh, referred to the efforts exerted to complete the implementation of the Riyadh Agreement and the legitimacy’s continued keenness to implement it, rejecting escalation and obstacles that will affect, to a major and negative degree, efforts to restore the state and international efforts aimed at establishing peace and stability in Yemen.
This came during his meeting today with the French ambassador to Yemen, Jean-Marie Safa, to review the developments and bilateral relations between the two friendly countries.
The Vice President praised the French positions in support of legitimacy and the efforts of French friends in the relief and humanitarian field, reviewing a number of issues and topics related to establishing peace and the legitimacy’s continuous cooperation with the international efforts, in exchange for the Houthis’ continued intransigence dependent on Tehran’s decisions and directives.
The Vice President of the Republic referred to a number of crimes committed by the coup militias, which would further complicate the military, economic and humanitarian situation, and at the forefront of these crimes is the continued targeting of neighborhoods, residential cities and displaced persons in Marib and other civilian objects with missiles and drones.
For his part, the French ambassador renewed his country’s support for peace efforts and the implementation of the Riyadh Agreement, referring to the bilateral relations between Yemen and France and the various fields of cooperation, according to the Yemeni news agency “Saba”.
