The Yemeni news agency, Saba, said that the government team charged with following up the implementation of the Riyadh Agreement headed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Affairs Dr. Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak held a bilateral meeting today with the team assigned from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to complete the implementation of the Riyadh Agreement headed by Ambassador Muhammad Saeed Al Jaber, in a positive atmosphere And a common concern to complete the implementation of the agreement, especially the security and military aspect.
Where they discussed what has been implemented and the existing obstacles and challenges, which all efforts should be made by everyone in order to overcome and address them.
It was agreed on the need to stop all forms of escalation, which everyone agrees are working to complicate matters, and to discuss ways to create appropriate conditions for the government’s return to the interim capital, Aden, to carry out its duties without hindrances in order to alleviate the suffering of citizens.
Everyone stressed the great keenness to implement the remainder of the Riyadh Agreement, which leads to the gathering of words and unification of ranks in facing economic challenges and confronting the Houthi militias backed by Iran.
During the meeting, the government team expressed its appreciation for the efforts made by the leadership and government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with Yemen in various fields and circumstances.
